Overview ––––

Bridging interior design, photographic art direction, and CGI, this body of work explores the development of digitally constructed environments through a considered editorial lens.

From intimate product vignettes to fully realized residential and commercial spaces, each project brings together creative concept development, spatial design, materiality, lighting, and visual storytelling. The intention is to create imagery that extends beyond traditional product visualization, establishing a distinct sense of place while maintaining the integrity of the featured product.

‍

Approach ––––

Each project begins with a clear creative point of view. Drawing inspiration from architecture, interiors, photography, and cultural references, I develop visual concepts that inform the overall direction of a space.

This process extends into interior design and spatial planning, considering architectural details, material palettes, furniture selections, product placement, and the relationship between each element within the environment.

Composition and lighting are equally integral to the design process. Camera perspective, focal length, natural light, and atmosphere are considered early in development, establishing how the space will ultimately be experienced through the frame.

The goal is to build environments that feel intentional and visually compelling, where the architecture, styling, and product work collectively to tell a cohesive story.

Execution ––––

Working closely with 3D artists and creative teams, I translate creative concepts into detailed visual direction through mood boards, material references, spatial layouts, and ongoing art direction.

I guide architectural refinements, surface treatments, furniture placement, lighting, and camera composition throughout the development of each scene. Alongside annotated feedback and reference imagery, I use AI-assisted visuals to clarify design intent and communicate specific refinements to the CG team.

Particular attention is given to photographic realism - the behavior of light across materials, the relationship between shadow and form, and the subtle imperfections that give an environment authenticity. I compare rendered materials against physical samples to assess color, texture, finish, and scale, while identifying modeling discrepancies that affect product accuracy.

Through collaborative reviews and detailed visual feedback, I guide each image toward a balance of design integrity, editorial composition, and product clarity.

‍

Outcome ––––

The resulting imagery represents a convergence of interior design, creative art direction, and digital production.

Each environment is developed to serve both a visual narrative and a commercial purpose, producing compelling assets for product storytelling, editorial content, and marketing campaigns.

By approaching CGI with the sensibility of a designer, stylist, photographer, and art director, the work demonstrates how digitally constructed spaces can carry the same atmosphere, depth, and emotional resonance as a physical environment.
